newbury st
today i took shopping to a whole new level.
boston's hit with a snow blizzard - it's freezing outside, snow/rain is pouring down, streets are soggy, icy, and snow is everywhere. but yet i really did need to get some of my christmas shopping done.
i got back 3 hours later - tired, completely wet, but with a sense of accomplishment!

last week
this week is quite a sad week for me - after 9 months, it marks the last week that i'll be in chicago (for a while).
i've loved this project - the dynamics, the client, the work, the perks, the city, the weather, the food, the lifestyle. i'm sad to leave. :(

after 6 hours of waiting at the airport
scenario on plane:
row 17, seats A B C <space>D E F
(i have 18D)
plane is completely full, but agent comes through to check if no empty seats are left. long story short, person in seat A was supposed to be in F. Person F was supposed to be in E. Person E was supposed to be in D. Person D is a old lady who speaks no english but had absolutely refused to move from that seat, forcing Person E who's pregnant and had warned that she will need to go to the bathroom multiple times to sit in the middle seat.
flight attendant comes, finds out the situation, and attempts to move old lady (Person D) to her rightful seat. apparently she's supposed to be traveling with her son (who is a few rows behind) but since i don't speak spanish, and she spoke barely any english, i wasn't sure why her son didn't retrieve her (bad son).
flight attendant then gestures to old lady that she HAS to move, to which the old lady got up, grumbled, and used her cane to whack the flight attendant on the leg.
