the wii

i'm not usually into game consoles (i was hooked on atari for a bit but that was a really long time ago), but this nintendo wii is fun!!!
had the chance to play golf (yucks, still hate the game), boxing, fishing, baseball, but tennis was definitely the most fun. :) actually gives you a workout too. or maybe i'm just not that fit.
so those out there with kids. if you need to purchase a game for your kids, consider the wii. at least some games are not just mindless bashing (though i like the shooting games too).
p.s. i don't want one.

I don't think any game console company can innovate like Nintendo. Sony and Microsoft are both great in their own way... but when it comes to designing gaming "experiences", they definitely lose out to Nintendo.
Looking back... Nintendo was the first to come up with the 'joypad' interface (after Atari's 'joystick'). I'm sure they were also the first to come up with the 'rumble' pack ( the thing that adds vibration to the controller). Now motion sensors?
Tam and I are considering getting one off a friend in London. This could be her best/only shot at beating me in Tennis!
Btw... I've seen mobile phones in Korea and Japan that are equiped with:
- GPS
- Motion sensors
- Cameras that can take pictures in 3D, and
- Screens that can output videos and graphics in 3D (Holographic effect).
hallo!
