road directions

in the US we have google maps, which is very reliable when needing directions from point A to point B. generally it would sound like this:

"Right on Carlmont Dr."
"Left on Sky Road"
"Continue on Sky Road, arrive at 3053 Sky Rd"

malaysian directions are generally a little more vague. overheard on a phone conversation:

"at the roundabout off the LDP, make a 9 o'clock"
"go straight ah, then you will see some high intensity cables" (WHAT high intensity cables?!)
"follow the high intensity cables until the traffic light, then make a left"
"you'll pass 2 bus stops, one very busy, and one not very busy. turn right after the busy bus stop"
