disappointments

throughout the course of life, you meet tons of people. some whom you cherish, some whom you keep at arm's length. but those whom you grow close to, you learn to respect them, you learn from them, and you watch out for them. in the same way they do for you.

but sometimes, even those you keep close disappoint you. they make choices you don't understand, that is completely out of character. you don't understand, you grasp around wildly, you're left confused and disappointed.

i might never understand why you chose to do that. that there's enough in you to hurt those around, break not only them, but everyone else in the periphery as well. that you could arrive at a decision that seems so wrong.

but you've made a choice. there must be some reasoning behind it. whether i agree with it is another question. i'm disappointed.
