your very own google?

so google came up with an idea to let you googlize yourself. (if you look at the word 'google' too often you start to see stars.) this new feature allows you to create subsets of the search engine, select topics, search specifically for things that will appeal to you, and only prowl through and prioritize websites that you want.

if you create a custom 'technology' engine, typing 'mustang' wouldn't give you results of an animal. if you have a 'politics' engine, typing 'whitehouse' wouldn't give you a porn site.

i'm not sure if i'm too impressed. all this does is to cut down the number of words you need to type in the search bar.
