my airport express

bought myself one today. allows you to stream music and print wirelessly, which i thought, is awesome. being able to control music in my room without having to hook my speakers up to my laptop.

setting this thing up though requires hefty configuration. what a pain in the ass. by default it sets itself up as a router, and to have it extend your wireless network instead doesn't seem to be intuitive. i have an intermediate solution where my ethernet cable is still plugged into the device but at least it streams my music. the blinking yellow light is annoying too. apple seems to make seemingly cool but highly unintegrateble products.

next should be a wireless charger. wouldn't that be awesome?
