a shameless plug...
so i just came back from home, and to those of you who are back there (or going back sometime), you HAVE to try this new italian restaurant that my parents found!!!!
i (oops) actually don't remember its name, but it's in ss2, several shops to the left of the nude duck place (you know - the ngap fan that hangs a HUGE roast duck outside the store), and it's in the middle (not corner shop).
very simple, not many people inside (but don't be fooled). kinda pricey, but MAN so worth it!!! quality food. seriously.
this will make you drool:
baked mussels...
ratatouille-crackle bread (seriously, the best french bread i had!)...

the fancy-est calzone i've had...

ravioli with truffles!! not the chocolate, the mushroom (well, think abalone-expensive mushrooms)...

baileys irish cream chocolate tart. SIGH. :) and we had their famous tiramisu too (picture up top)...
ps: i swear, i'm not getting a commission for this. it was just... SO GOOD!!!

- with that kind of description, even a person who lived in ss2 for 30 years wouldn't be able to figure out what you're referring to :)
what?! EVERYBODY knows the nude duck shoplah.
well - or you could drive the four sides of ss2 and just look out for a giant roast duck... :)
The owner used to be the Chef at Pizza Uno Centerpoint... He got fired or something. I think his name is Enzo. :)
"not my taste, but those who eat veges said it was really good"
