new author!

so. over the weekend my sister visited me (she's flying out now, unless my dream of it hailing and snowing in the bay area in june and delaying the outbound flights is true) and said that she 'sometimes has stuff to say, but doesn't want her own blog!', so i'm having her as a 'guest' blogger whenever she wants to blog. :)
