penguin talk
so my team at work has a few avid steak eaters (my sis would love them), and constantly talk about this 'magic' marinating sauce from alabama, the difference between grilled and barbequed (uh nooooo, everytime us non-southerners have a barbeque, it really is a 'grill-out' because barbeques are 'slow fires that you roast a pig over'). there's this one skinny guy from alabama who LOVES meat ('why eat anything else when you can eat steak?'), makes ice cream with bacon, calls mash potatoes, corn etc. as 'fluff that you fill up the plate with' right next to a huge giant steak.
so today, instead of a team lunch, we have a team 'grill-out'. awesome awesome tri-tips and sirloins, corn and linguisa.
i also heard a hilarious pick-up line - 'want to come home to play with my penguin'?! as he refers to his actual, penguin pet.
