was it an honest mistake?

that woman who hit my car finally called me. she found a police report stuck to her door and wanted to see if the damage was less than her deductible. but it's gonna cost 1800 bucks to fix my car. yeap. her insurance will have to take care of it.

her excuse for the hit-and-run was that she was late in going to the hospital to see her dad. is it true?

when you hear a story like that though, you're in a dilemma. yes most probably she might be lying, but for the tinsiest chance that she WAS telling the truth, i can't hold it against her. i guess i'm not mad anymore.
